The Hallyu Dream Concert is back.
Officials from the Korean Entertainment Producers’ Association stated, “The 2013 Hallyu Dream Concert will be launched on October 5 at the Gyeongju Citizen Stadium in North Gyeongsang province.”
Co-hosted by North Gyeongsang province, the city of Gyeongju, and the Korean Entertainment Producers’ Association, this event was first launched in November 2011 and has been continuing annually since then. Seventeen K-pop groups including TVXQ, Sistar, kara, A pink, 4Miunte, T-ara, Davichi, 2AM, Bangtan Boys, Baechigi, Boys Republic, BtoB, VIXX, and Ailee have confirmed their attendance for the first part of the concert. The list of K-pop singers for the second part will be revealed later on.
Also, the K-pop Cover Dance Festival is scheduled to be held five days prior to the Hallyu Dream Concert. About 2,000 teams from 73 countries entered the preliminary to participate in the festival.
